COMPOSER

A Composer of the Year nominee at the Opus Awards, Pascal is strongly inspired by 20th-century composers who successfully bridged tradition and modernity (Lili Boulanger, Penderecki, Hindemith, Honegger, Sallinen, Shostakovich, Schnittke). Equally passionate about metal music, Pascal is a creator with an expressive musical language driven by intensity and emotions.

 

Thanks to his background as a conductor, Pascal composes with an enhanced understanding of professional realities. His vocal experience has also led him to write numerous works for choir (including a commission for the Vancouver Chamber Choir) as well as for solo voice and piano.
